Lizzie Velasquez

Lizzie is an American motivational speaker and author. She suffers from a rare congenial disease. Born four weeks early her birth weight was only 1,219 grams. She has zero percent body fat and has never gained more than 29 kg. She is blind in her right eye and has a weak immune system. She has some physical charecteristics such as pointed nose and aging skin.

When she was 17 years old strangers on youtube labelled her as ”the ugliest woman in the world”. She said the comments were really cruel such as:”why did your parents keep you?” and ”kill it with fire”.

The video had over 4 million views. But that video changed her life. That video inspired her to be a motivational speaker. And she has written two best selling books.

When I’m feeling sad I like to read about her story because it makes me realize some people have it worse
